I waited 4 episodes to really dive into this for a long period of time.
Many viewers have been told stories from a similar angle, but that view here remains exciting as it tackles a more confusing but well-woven plot with female leads throughout, each confidently capturing our attention whenever she appears
The goal was to give myself a chance to appreciate the gift we have been given by numerous top-notch actors contributing to the creation of this work, which, by the way, is enjoyable and well-regarded by many despite mixed reviews.
At the halfway point, we can’t say if that sense of urgency as we find out more and more of what’s going on will hold up at the level it has now, but given the subject matter, the budget, and the pool of talent they were able to bring this to the screen with, it’ll be hard to stick the landing, largely because of the series’ solid foundation
