Narrative
Follows a struggling high school heavy metal band of outcasts who use the town’s sudden interest in the occult to build a reputation as a satanic metal band until a strange series of events lead to a witch hunt that leads back to them. Def Lepard Hysteria, KISS The sky is on fire, Meatloaf Speaking in tongues, Iron Maiden Can I play with madness, Black Sabbath Die young, Danzig Mother, Queen and Dance is late.
This show captured 1989, satanic panic and all those old supernatural horror movies to a T
Ghost.. I suspect that when the network saw this, they had them edit out some small footage that might reveal the possible ending so they could make a second season.
At least I hope so
But having lived through this period, I can say that they managed it very well. Even though it wasn’t a comedy, it made me laugh at other movies in the genre that reminded me of Stranger Things but limited the jump.
Hats off to the producers, directors and writers
scares, gore, and ultra violence, and still made a good show. P.S.
the cast is good and this is brice campbell’s second best role after bubba ho tep
