The town set was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia
Narrative
Unravels the mystery of a town in the American heartland that imprisons anyone who enters. As residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, convenience store, etc.
A rope is dropped to him
(all demolished in 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. Paved streets and roads were all that remained, and the fake town was built upon them. When Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a pit.
Martin didn’t throw the rope
When Boyd emerges from the pit, Martin is the only one in the room and is chained to the wall. Featured in Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch-Up Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022). Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans Performed by The Pixies.
You’re heading straight into the same trap
I’m writing this to the writers and producers of the show: Please don’t turn this into another “Lost,” another letdown. None of the characters communicate with each other or share what’s going on in town. It’s like they’ve suddenly become clueless, deliberately withholding important information that could help them understand what’s going on.
And this is very annoying
Also, in every episode, something new happens, but it’s never explained. I’ve watched 14 episodes so far and nothing has been made clear, just like in “Lost.” So please, writers and producers, don’t screw this one up, too.
